Australian cities by Nicole

It should go without saying that these stories are my personal experience in Australia and don’t necessarily reflect the whole of Australia and its people.  But now I just said it. So there.

This is what I’ve discovered about Australian cities thus far.  We will see how it changes as we travel to each location.

Sydney doesn’t like Melbourne.  Melbourne doesn’t like Sydney.  Adelaide thinks themselves above everyone else because they are the only city that wasn’t started by “convicts”. They will remind you this daily.  Canberra is the home of the main government and therefore, everyone else tries to avoid it.  Perth is so far from everything else it’s just the “hot” place in the west. Brisbane seems to be interchangeable with the rest of Queensland and therefore is just Queensland or the Sunshine Coast.  Darwin is a place they mention during the weather and that is Australian cities by Nicole.
